In 2008 a 28.7 lb Brown Trout was caught on our boat the Barbara Rose out of Muskegon. Book your trip today and get in on some of the action. March 12thSteelhead have been actively moving in the lower system with current weather conditions. We are producing up to 7 Steelhead a trip will be posting current pictures soon. Feb 24th Been getting some nice perch and blue gill's on the ice for the last couple of weeks. Feb 11th Muskegon river spring Steelhead run looks like its going to be excellent this year, be sure to book your date! Dec 18th Muskegon river Steelhead fishing has been very productive, we are catching fresh fish every trip. Nov 24th Kevin,Bruce,Mike and Capt. Art went fishing for Whitefish in the Muskegon channel landing over 30 whitefish and Capt. Art landed a 15lb Lake Trout. Nov 20th Muskegon river the last few days we have had a surge of fresh Steelhead move into the river. Nov 11th Today Capt. Art and Jim checked out a new stretch and in the first hour and a half landed 6 out of 7 chrome Steelhead. Fish are through the entire system if you haven't booked your trip now's the time, the next few weeks should be good fishing. Nov 10th Michigan fishing is awesome right now today had the privelage of fishing with Doug and young Peter who hooked and landed his limit of Steelhead as well as dad 7 for 8. I really enjoyed fishing with the both of you. Nov 7th Michigan Steelhead trip today with Joe,John, Tim and C had an excellent trip today landed 5 for 9 nice Steelies. Nov 5th Muskegon river Steelhead fishing today with Walt,Ron and Gary had a great trip landing 3 out of 5. LAKE MICHIGAN SALMON FISHING REPORT: March 12th,2010 Lake Michigan Fishing Charters have produced the biggest Salmon, Brown Trout and Steelhead in years. Our Muskegon Charter Boat " Barbara Rose" in North Muskegon is avaliable 7 days a week and catching up to 20 fish per trip and the largest Brown trout recorded in Muskegons history (28.7 lbs.) Sept 13th Lake Michigan trip with Moses landed 5 nice one's in which one of them landed was a huge Brown Trout which was the 2nd one landed on the Barbara Rose since 2008, last year we took a 28.7 lb Brown and last week the world's largest Brown Trout was caught on the Manistee river, Michigan has been taken some of the largest Browns caught in a long time. Sept 12th Lake Michigan Salmon trip with Larry and the guy's for their annual outing we had a great trip landing 13 tried fishing in close but due to the heavy traffic had to head out to deep water which paid off. Sept 6th Lake Michigan trip with Eric and the boy's again landed 9 nice one's, It was fun fishing with you guy's Sept 5th Lake Michigan Salmon trip with Matt had a good catch. Sept 4th Evening Salmon trip out of Muskegon with Eric,Aaron,Anna and Devin had an awesome evening trip landing 13 nice one's.
